The Atholville Canadian Tire Cardinals win 3-2 over Beresford
The Cardinals start off the 2010 season with a big win in Atholville last night. The Cardinals beat the Beresford Aces 3-2. Chris Flann was credited with the win, throwing 2 innings and allowing no run, no hits and walking one batter. Robbig Gillis threw 5 strong innings allowing 1 run. Ronnie Lavigne was tagged with the lose for Beresford.
The Cardinals are back in action Friday night in Dalhousie, where the Cardinals will be facing a new young team in Dalhousie.
