Cardinals fall short to Braves



The Atholville Canadian Tire Cardinals were dropped 11-10 by the Petit-Rocher Braves last night in Atholville. Luc fallu was tagged with the lost. Fallu pitched 2.1 innings, allowing 9 earned runs on 6 hits, while walking 3 batters and striking out 5. Kyle Parker came into releif throwing 4.2 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 3 hits, while walking 5, hitting 1 batter and striking out 5. Michel Doucet got the Win for Petit-Rocher. Doucet pitched 5 complete innings, allowing 6 runs, 4 earned runs on 7 hits, 1 home run and striking out 5 hitters. Guy Robichaud got the save.

Marc Theriault went 1/4 at the plate. Phil Nazair was 1/3. Denzel Isaac went 4/4 with 2 doubles, 1 single, 1 home run and 5 RBI's. Alain Arseneault was 1/4. Pascal LeBlanc went 2/4 and Chris Flann went 1/2

The Cardinals are back in action tonight as they travel to Petit-Rocher to finish up the home and home series against the Braves. Game time is 6h30 pm.
